A szivárgást megerősítette a Bethesda.

Hoppá, 1961? Igen, ekkor játszódik a Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, és bár BJ Blazkowicz a The New Order végén sikeres volt, a nácik azóta lerohanták Amerikát, és így BJ egy ellenállás tagjaként működik. Roswell, New Orleans, New Mexico, és poszt-nukleáris Manhattan: érdekes helyszínekre számíthatunk a MachineGames játékában, ami a DOOM-ban igen szép teljesítményt nyújtó id Tech 6-os motort fogja alkalmazni.

A futurisztikus fegyverekkel (pl. Laserkraftwerk – lézerpuska, Dieselkraftwerk – gázmeghajtású (!?), gyorstüzelő gránátvető) is próbálkozó Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, amit a Bethesda a tavalyi E3-on már csendben reklámozott, október huszonhetedikén érkezik PlayStation 4-re, Xbox One-ra és PC-re.
