Megjelenési dátumot és előrendelői bónuszokat is kapott a The Imaginati Studio és a FoxNext Games Majmok bolygója-játéka.

Mindenesetre az biztos, hogy mikor érkezik PlayStation 4-re a Sony PlayLink-rendszerét is használó Last Frontier, amit akár négyen is játszhatunk DualShock 4-gyel, vagy akár Android, iOS eszközzel. Aki előrendeli a játékot, hozzáférést kap a Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier soundtrackjéhez, illetve öt PlayStation Network avatar is a markát üti.

A 20 dollárba (~6 ezer forintba) kerülő, egy évvel a Dawn of the Planet of the Apes film (magyarul A majmok bolygója: Forradalom néven került a mozikba) után játszódó játék november huszonegyedikén fog megjelenni PlayStation 4-en, míg az Xbox One és PC port valamikor idén fogja követni. Ahhoz képest, hogy augusztusban lett bejelentve, ez nem is lassú tempó!
