Abszolút siker az Asobi csapatának! A PlayStation Studios japán cége elnyerte az Astro Bot-tal az év legjobb videójátékának járó díjat a 2024-es The Game Awards gálán. A platformer a Balatro-t, a Black Myth: Wukong-ot, az Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree-t, a Final Fantasy VII Rebirth-et és a Metaphor: ReFantazio-t verte a tegnapi eseményen „Az év játéka” kategóriában.
Az Astro Bot a legjobb játékrendezés, a legjobb akció- és kalandjáték, valamint a legjobb családi játék díjat is elnyerte.
Az esemény másik nagy nyertese a Balatro és a Metaphor: ReFantazio volt, mindegyikük négy-négy szobrocskát vitt el. Általánosságban elmondható, hogy a díjakat szépen elosztották a versenyzők között.
Az Astro Bot szeptember 6-án indult, kizárólag PS5-re, és egy kihívásokkal és platformer elemekkel teli galaktikus küldetésre csábítja a játékosokat.
