A Star Warsban a Leia hercegnőt alakított Carrie Fisherre emlékezik a Frontier Developments.

A fejlesztők tavaly Leonard Nimoy hatására neveztek el egy bolygót és egy űrhajót is – a színész anno Spockot alakította a Star Trekben -, úgyhogy nem idegen tőlük a sci-fi filmekben nagyot menetelő színészekre való emlékezés.

Az Elite: Dangerous rendezője és a stúdió producere, Michael Brooks egy fórumposztban közölte, hogy Fisher után egy új előörsöt elneveznek Fisher’s Restnek (Fisher pihenőhelye magyarul) – ez a játék következő frissítésében fog elérhetővé válni.
