A Japánban működő Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) bejelentette a Japan Game Awards 2021 győzteseit, melyen a Sucker Punch Productions játéka, a Ghost of Tsushima és a Capcom híres sorozatának friss darabja, a Monster Hunter Rise osztoztak a fődíjon.
A Naughty Dog megosztó címe, a The Last of Us Part II nyerte az Award for Excellence-díjat, amelyet többek között a Final Fantasy VII Remake és a Ghost of Tsushima is megkapott. A Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War pedig díjat kapott a “Global Award – Foreign Product” kategóriában, mint legjobb külföldi játék.
