A PlayStation 4 Pro képességeit kihasználó patch nemsokára megjelenik a november végén megérkezett Final Fantasy XV-höz.

Hajime Tabata a legújabb Active Time Reportban megerősítette, hogy világszerte február 21-én jön a patch, amivel a „legtöbbször” (tehát nem állandóan) 60 FPS-sel fog futni a játék, aminek a szintkorlátja 120-ra emelkedik, 200-ra nő az eltárolható fotók száma, de a frissítéssel már Chocobókon is hallgathatunk zenéket, illetve időkorlátolt questek is jönnek.
