A Guitar Hero Live egy kreatív újítással próbálkozik. Ez lesz a GHTV, amely egy interaktív zenei csatornának tekinthető. A kínálat folyamatosan bővítésre fog kerülni, és a kihívásokkal újabb és újabb tartalmakat nyithatunk meg.

A barátainkkal is megküzdhetünk majd a GHTV-n keresztül. Ehhez a rendszerhez szerintünk el fog kelleni egy kis szerverkapacitás, úgyhogy talán a megjelenés napján, október 20-án nem rohad le az egész.
