Ünnepel a Polyphony Digital franchise-a.

1997. december 23. A Polys Entertainment (akkor még így hívták a csapatot!) PlayStation-exkluzív játéka, amibe a Cyberhead is besegített, megjelenik Japánban. Nem sokan hitték volna, hogy közel két évtizeddel később is patinásan hangzik a Sony térfelén ez a két szó: Gran Turismo.
Pedig ez a helyzet. Kazunori Yamauchi (a franchise atyja és a Polyphony fejese) és Shuhei Yoshida (a Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios főnöke) visszaemlékszik a múltra, hogy miként is haladt az első Gran Turismo fejlesztése. Vannak angol feliratok is, úgyhogy érthető, miről regél a két japán úriember.

A lehető legjobbkor emlékeznek meg a múltról, ugyanis a jövő, a Gran Turismo Sport napokon belül megjelenik PlayStation 4-re (PlayStation VR-támogatással): európai területeken október 18-ától, a tengerentúl pedg 17-étől ülhetünk a kormány mögé.
